Ferrell, a diehard fan of the Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings, wore a customized jersey from his favorite team with his name on the back. After hopping out of the zamboni, he attempted to start a “Let’s go Kings!” chant in the Canadian city.
Other sports stops on the promo tour included a Cubs game where Ferrell and Galifianakis announced the starting lineups and a soccer game between Chelsea FC and the Seattle Sounders.
