Jury deliberations began Wednesday in the murder case against William Balfour, the man accused of killing Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and young nephew.
A panel of six men and six women will now decide whether or not to convict Balfour of three counts of first-degree murder in the 2008 slayings.

The Oscar-winning actress was in court for the closing arguments earlier Wednesday, when prosecutors told the jury that "today it is time to hold [Balfour] responsible for murdering and executing them."
Hudson's mother, Darnell Donerson, 57, and brother Jason, 29, were found shot dead in their home on Chicago's South Side on Oct. 24, 2008.
