Is the funniest painter downtown leaving his studio? Jim Carrey’s artist workspace in the West Village — which he mysteriously dubbed “The Church of FFC” — is for rent. A sign is visible atop the single- story commercial space at 139 Perry St., causing neighbors to wonder if Carrey’s vacating his art cave. According to a listing by Ripco Real Estate, the 2,000-square-foot space is available beginning Jan. 1, with a rental price “upon request.” A source told us Carrey has re-signed his lease several times and plans to renew in December.
