Twenty-six years later and on a different continent, it's still behind the bag.
In a video posted on YouTube, a group of Kenyan schoolchildren are seen reenacting the memorable 10th-inning rally that culminated in one of the most famous plays in World Series history and led to a 6-5 win for the Mets in Game 6.
The 1:48 second clip shows the children playing in an open field and filming their recreation of Mookie Wilson’s at-bat against Bob Stanley, starting with his wild pitch that allowed Kevin Mitchell to score and tie the game at 5-5 and for Ray Knight to advance to second base.
