Scottish actor Richard Madden has spent most of the second season of HBO’s hit series “Game of Thrones” in leadership mode. His Robb Stark, son of the slain Lord of Winterfell Ned Stark (Sean Bean) has been valiantly trying to guide his men toward vengeful victory against the scheming Lannisters. So far, Madden’s cachet as a righteous heir seems to be working, based on what he kept hearing on the streets during a recent trip to New York.
“They yell out, ‘King of the North!’” Madden revealed recently with a laugh during a phone interview. “Or people come up and say, ‘I know you. Did we get drunk one night?’ I get that quite a lot.”
