New York’s night life is all grown up.
Scene maker Jon Bakhshi is launching his first restaurant, but the upscale RSVP in SoHo, slated for an early June opening, will still have a late-night, lounge-like feel.
RSVP, at 15 Watts St., will be a 3,700-square-foot restaurant until the last seating ends, at which time the tables will give way to a lounge serving champagne and rosé.
“We are graduating to a more sophisticated and elegant space,” Bakhshi told Side Dish.
The decor features a sunken dining room with crystal chandeliers. There’s also the Greenroom, a private dining room with a separate entrance for up to 40 guests.
